From Sacramento:
Take I-80 EAST past the Yuba Gap exit
Exit RIGHT on to State Hwy 20 WEST (toward Nevada City)
Continue on Hwy 20 for approximately4 miles
Exit RIGHT onto Bowman Lake Road (Forest Service Road 18N18)
The turnoff is on a downhill section, look for three sheds by the side of the exit
Upon turning off, continue for approximately 3/10ths of a mile and exit LEFT into an asphalt parking area just before the entrance to the Discovery Nature Trail & Rest Facility
