From Sacramento:
Take I-80 EAST past the Yuba Gap exit
Exit RIGHT on to State Hwy 20 WEST (toward Nevada City)
Continue on Hwy 20 for approximately 2 miles
Look for a sign on the RIGHT indicating Lake Spaulding Recreation Area
The exit is on the RIGHT immediately after the sign (The turnoff is hidden by foliage & easy to miss so slow down after the two mile marker).
Drive past the PG&E housing area
Take the far RIGHT gate and pass through the campground staying to the LEFT Follow the narrow two-lane road down to the lake and parking area
Park close to the new section of the lot.
