This guided, instructional day trip to Brooks Island is an easy paddle across sheltered Bay waters with a spectacular view of San Francisco. The island's caretaker leads the group on an easy 2 mile hike. In spring the area teems with wildflowers and nestling birds, fall and winter boast a rich variety of migrating bird life, and summers native plants delight the observer.
