Sacramento is known as the River City and Current Adventures has long been established as the leading outfitter and innovator for paddling classes and trips in the area. Our destinations include the best of the lakes, nature preserves and, of course, the beautiful American River. We have classes and excursions to fit anyone's skill level and interest. Our guides possess the most experience and passion in and for the area, whether it is Thomas Baumann on the Cosumnes River Nature Preserve where he has spent much of his life, or John Weed and Paul Camozzi who have been exploring the lakes and rivers of the area for over 25 years (each!).
