Come explore this beautiful jewel tucked away in a notch cut deep into the forested hills near the American River. We'll paddle the pristine waters checking out coves, waterfalls and remnants of the old Pony Express Trail as well as historic logging operations. There are no roads or trails within the lake system and no motorized boats allowed on the lake, so you can be one of the few people to have ever seen its hidden shorelines and stunning features. Operated under special permit from the US Forest Service, El Dorado National Forest
