The 2008 River City Marathon Has Been Cancelled.

This exciting event is open to all divisions of kayaks, canoes, surf-skis and outriggers. The race begins at Sailor Bar on the Lower American River. The main race will conclude at Paradise Beach, with the short course finish at Goethe Park. Good river flows should make this a great race - the ultimate opportunity to stretch it all out! (Food, drinks & awards at the Paradise Beach finish line!) (After the race, we will shuttle boats from Paradise Beach to the start - space for people is limited, so make arrangements accordingly.)

Date for 2008: Sunday, June 29
Cost: $15 pre-registration --- $20 race day registration
Time: Sign-in and registration 8am-9am
9:15am Paddler's Meeting
9:30am Start at Sailor's Bar
