Having
spent 27 of his 47 years as a paddler, John's experiences on the
water-- river, ocean, lake-- are as unique and eclectic as he. Siberia's
Katun River has seen the underside of his boat, as his competitors
in slalom, Eppies, and wildwater usually see the backside of it.
Winters find him island hopping in his touring kayak in the Sea
of Cortez in Baja Mexico. After five years as a whitewater, touring,
and kid's classes instructor for Current Adventures, it seems that
no river trip is complete without John, his guitar, his harmonica,
