Landon Lipke

Landon Lipke, a Current Adventures' instructor for three seasons, has tried it all when it comes to kayaking: wild water, slalom, rodeo, surf kayaking and creeking. The freedom of kayaking attracts Landon to the sport; so strongly, in fact, that he will paddle anything, as long as it is wet and scenic. A former longtime resident of Kernville, he calls his former home river, The Kern, his favorite, but The Wilshire Hotel in downtown LA is by far the most exotic place he has paddled. He yearns, now, to someday, someday soon, take a stroke in the warm waters of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. When not in his boat, he can be seen alongside his favorite rivers fly fishing for Cromers or perhaps climbing rock somewhere gorgeous. He has longtime on-the-water experience as a raft guide for Sierra South.
