Hailing
from Germany but having grown up in Sacramento, Thomas carves a
life that embraces the outdoors. Much of his 23 years has been spent
on the Cosumnes River Nature Preserve where he now leads Current
Adventures' Calm Water EcoTours so that others may enjoy the beauty
and serenity of the Preserve as he does. An avid birder who began
kayaking at the age of seven, Thomas seeks out any paddling local
where birds flourish and nature clings. He feels honored to float
any of the magical places that kayaking takes him, but Scotland
and Costa Rica have left particularly deep impressions on him. When
not on the water, Thomas, who is an EMT and is swift water rescue
certified, studies to become a mechanical engineer. Back to Main Staff Page |
